Short Short Reflection 23

Respect the Season You Are In

Reflection 23 · On Life Transitions

1-min read · Looking Inward

Life does not ask us to play every role with equal intensity at the same time. There are seasons for building, seasons for caring, seasons for recovering, and seasons for beginning again.

Difficulty often arises when we compare one season with another — expecting the pace of expansion during a period that requires reflection, or judging a quiet period as if nothing valuable is happening.

I have learned that progress does not always look like acceleration. Sometimes progress is creating space, restoring energy, or understanding what the next chapter should no longer contain.

Each season asks something different from us. Wisdom begins when we recognise what the present one requires.

Not every season is meant for visible growth. Some seasons prepare the ground for what will grow next.
